Are there any truly free music download sites?
Many sites claim to have free music downloads but require a membership fee. Are there any you can use without a credit card?

Your best bet for downloading MP3 files free of charge would be using the Gnutella file sharing network.
The Gnutella file sharing network is accessible through a variety of programs, one of the most popular programs used now is called “LimeWire”. Limewire is a free program, (usable on almost all major operating systems) which from in 2 versions: “free” and “pro”.
Firstly, download and install the Java Runtime Environment. It’s required to use the program. (free):
